Praise God for all
this Goodness! Amen! I am very thankful that I have purchased and
installed my new kitchen…with most of the common things a man
needs, such as a sink, refrigerator, and stove. Since I need to
cook 6 small meals a day – with my new diet plan – it comes in
handy to have these things. And I keep the dishes done – so Mom
would be proud, not so much because I want to, but I have company
so often (almost daily) that I must.

| Surprisingly, the cupboards, sink, and facet were only about $1,200 USD. So…that’s cheaper than America- wouldn’t you say? And the stove was about $260 and the Refrigerator about $485. They aren’t “BIG” like in America, but they get the job done. I have spent a lot of my savings on getting this place livable. But, thankful I had that to spend…for sure. |

So now you won’t be so afraid to visit me.
Lastly, it was (negative) – 24 degrees Celsius today – with a 10 MPH wind, which made it feel like negative 40 C. That is about negative 15-20 or so in Fahrenheit. The interesting thing is that I was angry that it was so cold and it was stopping my work out – the cold started last Thursday- so Friday I didn’t run my 2 miles. Well, it is going to be this cold all week…and I need to work out – so today I ran about 1 mile in this weather…I had about 5 layers on. I survived…and even though my lungs and eyes hurt – it was good. Just wanted to let you know it is possible. (but only about ¼ of the cars in Kiev are working in this weather)

PS – I have a tutor for Russian, at 6 dollars a lesson, 3 times a week – and we are working on the final State Orphanage project for this Christmas.
