New Apartment Update
IGreetings Friends,
December is a crazy busy month for me – with traveling to get a
visa from Budapest, meeting a contact in Poland, buying and
arranging children’s Christmas Project, and helping a missionary
named Meredith (she’s helping the Project as well) – researching a
mission’s future here, etc.
And in the middle of it – BAMM – I have to get my new apartment
set up – Basically, it is COMPLETELY BARE – I had to add the even
the Toilet seat myself – and the Shower Facet – the kitchen as
only a sink and stove with only 3 burners workingL - I had to give
the Thumbs Down to the NO Furniture - but, yeah – it’s awesome.
The deal is – I got it for only $280 a month which is an amazing
deal for Kiev – and it is big – 3 room apartment – but way out
from the center of town – it takes an hour to get to the center
from this place (by bus and metro). Plus, I paid a price to have
no furniture. However, with 3 rooms – I will have one bedroom, a
living room, and an office – which means I can host visitors in my
office or living room – so that is great! If I wanted a 2 room
apartment with furniture it would have cost $400 a month. Not in
the budgetJ
Alright – pray that I know what to buy, how to buy, when to buy
this furniture stuff.
Thanks tons for your love and support,
Rick Schwendinger
