Dear Missionary Team Members:

Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray that this letter finds you in good health and good spirits. I recently just returned from another trip to Kiev, Ukraine. On this 10 day trip I had some good fellowship with my Ukrainian friends, took some gifts to people, brought supplies for my future there, and enjoyed Ukrainian hospitality.

I had the opportunity to spend time with Lloyd and Natasha’s newly born nephew, Sasha. He is absolutely adorable and we became good friends it seemed, because every time he was fussing or crying all they had to do was hand him off to me and he was happy. Maybe it was something about my weird language and the goat-tee that dazzled him. Tonya, his mother, joked that she needed a little “Rick doll” that she could pull out whenever he cried to calm him down. Now there’s a real bobble-head doll idea waiting to happen!?

The four-year-old girl in the picture is Ann. She told us that she is ready to have a child like Sasha now…because she fed him his bottle and kept trying to hold him. It was truly amazing to see how caring the people are there even at the age of 4. I really enjoy the simple Ukrainian life that makes even a large city like Kiev (3 million population) feel like a village. I even started drinking tea instead of coffee since this last trip…and that must mean it’s over…I am officially a missionary to Ukraine?

In January, I spoke at the Bethlehem E & R Church, Lancaster Congregational Church and Grant County Christian Center. This February, I am speaking at Calvary Community Church (13th) and the Bethany Alliance Church (20th) and then it is off to Minnesota to speak on the 27th. Please keep me in your prayers. Thanks for your support it is so appreciated as I endeavor to move to Kiev, Ukraine this year!!!!!!!!!

In Christ,
