When the project is far away from Kiev...
You must stop for Shiskabab...right? Sure...of course...you are in Ukraine. Anyway, we had to travel over 100 KM to this project...so on the way back we ate. The funny thing is that we stopped to tell the cooks that we would be coming by in an hour or two...so please prepare for sure...but they said, "we'll see you when you get here" and didn't start until we got there...and cooking this pork meat outside takes about 1 hour minimum...well, we tried. Anyway, you get to see the bathroom for the resturant and I was allowed "out in the kitchen"...it was a good time:)

Hey there again...
Here is the last of the Christmas gift projects...it was a special one...Pastor Dima did preach a 10 minute presentation of the Gospel, asking for people to pray with him...and many kids did - it was a great success, on top of the kid's receiving special songs from Elders in Pastor Dima's church and the whole skits and games thingy. I hope to do another video this year...but man, with all the things on my plate, I probably won't get to it until summer time...and then release it on my website again. Also, I am driving to Chercassy this Saturday to preach at Tanya's home church there...please pray for safety and for God's wisdom and grace for preaching his Gospel. This will be the first time I see her parents after Tanya and I are engaged...so, it should be pretty cool. Blessings to you...pray for these children as many of them have illnesses internally. THANKS FOR ALL YOU GAVE TO MAKE THESE PROJECTS A SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!
+ 0 - 3 | § ¶Our First Real Snow...in Kiev
Today...
Praise God, is not the day that I have to travel to school...because I am quite sure I wouldn't have made it...on rainy days...traffic to school can increase from 1 hour to 2 very quickly...with snow...who knows. Tomorrow should be fun, since there should be ice on the road, as it is raining now and 0 degrees. Anyway, there really hasn't been a day that I don't see one or two accidents in Kiev...which is quite amazing...that I can see them - which means there must be many all over town, all day long. I don't know if you know this, but you can and are "suppose to" buy your driver's license here...you don't earn it, or do a test (although you can) - and the test is usually driving a car 9 meters or so. But, you pay $100 to get out of the class, and $100 to the driving instructor...and vam, bam...you are on the road. Pun intented. The driving here is crazy. In fact, I saw one of the stupidest acts the other day. While driving to school...we were 30 minutes late, because a 1950's van was broke in the middle of the road, when I past him, finally...he had his seat leaned back and was chain-smoking. Anyway - there was oil coming out of his engine, and it was leaking out on the road about 3 inches thick. IN THAT OIL WAS ONE OF HIS STILL, LIT, CIGARETTES...WAITING TO CATCH FIRE! Lucky for him it wasn't gas..., well, lucky for us all:( What a stud.

Hey...
These are a few photos of the little "dent" I made on the side of my car, while hitting a CURB taking a corner...actually, the curb is quite out in the middle of the exit and traffic pushed me too close to it...so strange to hit a curb with the middle of my car, without touching it with my tires...don't know if you can see it...actually hope you can't...but man...I was sad that my new car started to look more like the rest of the cars here:):) just kidding. Oh, and Yesterday while traveling to my "engagment classes" with Pastor Sunday's church...A BMW slammed into the back of the car behind me...made quite the noise...and thought I was hit for a second...glad God let me out of that one...for sure! Praise HIM!
