Another Great project...for kids whose parent/parents are in prison.
We came to this same orphanage last year...because Grace Evangelical Church comes and ministers to these kids weekly - same with all 3 projects that I am doing with them. This adds much to their credibility and makes for a very special Christmas for the children. We did some of the same stories and fun games, but some different things as well. We gave gifts for 25 kids but only 12 were there for this because some where in villages celebrating with their other relatives. However, we had a great time with those that were there...and I will let the pictures do the talking again...
THANKS FOR ALL YOUR GIFTS TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!!!!!! BLESSINGS:)

This was excellent!!!
There are few things in this world that bring kids more joy that having a presentation, games, and gifts given to them. These kids were a lot of fun, and Grace Evangelical Church, lead by Pastor Dima - helped preform and set this project up. This church also has an open invitation to any of you, if you want to come and do some mission work with them for a week or something -
Anyway, I made some faces at the kids and they generously made faces back at me...which I am sure they would love to do for any of you:) We played a few different games with them, had a puppet skit about Christmas and giving gifts and how to be a gift to others. Kind of a little Christmas miracle type story - with Jesus as a main gift to us...also, we gave them some picture stories from the Bible in each of their gift bags, (literally bags:)) - and these stories explain the Gospel more in writing and pictures.
Anyway - I will let the pictures do the talking....THANKS FOR ALL YOUR GIVING!!!!!!!!!!

What you think about the developments in Russia?
As you know, Ukraine is a close neighbor and there is more Russian-thinking here than most will care to admit...lets face it, half the country identifies with or was from Russia...and most people here speak Russian...I am learning Russian, mainly because Ukraine is the only country in the world that is somehow ashamed of its own language...(you are considered "from the village", if you speak Ukrainian - which is not a compliment). Anyway, the Chill is all over there...just a short distance away and missionaries are being "asked", or "booted" out of Russia...the good news is that they usually just come here...to Ukraine. But, the famous Orange Revolution" is over...and Russian leaning people are in power...also, the laws are getting more and more complicated for foreigners, like myself...to operate, live, and buy/sell in this country...which is a little sign, they might want us to get out...oh, but we can leave our money to their new laws that takes about 38% of any profits...
The more inportant issue is probably how there is no freedom of speach in Russian now...and nothing but state-run News, etc. Putin has set himself up as a demi-god and the Russian are basically writing songs about him, kind of like the children of Germany might have done in Hitler's day...singing song of love about their leader - kind of scarry. Anyway, this is not to encourage too much "end-times prophecy" - I actually don't try to read the Bible like a Newspaper...guessing what country will do this or do that. However, there is a regression in Russian - towards Dictatorship, no matter what fine words you want to call it - Putin is the dictator...and Muslims are pushing this agenda...and by 2050, they will hold the majority (in population, they have a lot of kids) in Western Europe and will be able to "elect themselves' as Presidents/parliments and then do as they please...I don't know if you understand that the Muslim mindset - but they will take over and not really care what you write about them...
sooooooooooooooo - what do you think? Anyway plans??? Do you think we need to elect a jackal, weak president next term? I don't think we could face the world with a bad president for even 4 years now - say what you want about President Bush - he's a leader, strong and sure - you don't have to guess at anytime that he will settle for defeat. You might not like the war in Iraq, but given the circumstances of the coming years...you might all be wishing he was back in the driver's seat again someday...and who said I couldn't "end-times prophecy", ha ha!
