+ 14 - 13 | § ¶The Ironic, The Office, and The Fish
Greetings Friends and Family,
Just giving a little update…all is well over here. Today, it finally was warm enough to go without a hat for my run…so Praise God…Oh, I want Spring so bad!
Anyway, the Ironic thing is…a Truck – delivery Truck that I used to see on the roads of Wisconsin was parked outside my widow a few days ago (and although my Russian teacher laughed at me for having to take the picture) – I thought it was pretty Ironic. I only wish they were delivering furniture to me!
The Office – you can see some of my “office/living room” in these pictures…on the wall is Russian words that I am memorizing…and well…the rest is self-explanatory.
The Fish – Ok…my friend Sasha – who helps me get “at cost electronics” – came over and brought this dried fish – which you just peel of the skin and go to town…it is actually quite salty – which is good…because I didn’t want to taste the actual fish. He also was the first one who made me eat “Salo” – which is just Fat…sometimes it is smoked fat. Anyway, both experiences weren’t as bad as I thought they could be. However, let’s just say…the Fish and I don’t see “eye to eye”.
As to the rest – Pray for John Dieter who is flying over and will be here Tuesday. Continue to pray for me and Ukraine…and pray that all goes well for my trip back to the USA in April – 6 months was (as I predicted) – about right for my first time moving to another country…I miss you all SOOOOO MUCH!
